Week of 1/19-1/23

This week we: 

-Learned letter "Nn"

-Practiced writing in our journals.

-Read Nelly Nurse book.

-Made nests from tissue paper.

-Learned number 14.

-Practiced counting.

-We did an experiment about how germs spread and the only way to get rid of them is washing with soap and water.

-Made our own doctor bag.

Week of 1/12-1/16

This week we:

-Learned letter Mm.

-Practiced wiriting in journals.

-Made our own Monsters.

- Learned number 13.

-Practiced counting.

-Learned winter songs.

-Read a book about Martin Luther King and explained how everyone is the same even if they look different. We did this  by using different colored eggs and when we cracked them open, they are the same on the inside. 

Week of 1/5-1/9

This week we:

-Learned letter "Ll".

-Practiced writing in our journals.

-Made Lollipops from construction paper and popsicle sticks.

-Learned number 12.

-Practiced counting and writing 12. 

-Finished our winter poster.

-Reviewed letters I J K L.

-"All About Me" posters are due on Friday 1/16.
